Cupid grew tired of hearing Apollo boast about his sexual prowess. So Cupid darted Apollo with a poison that made him sexually insatiable. Then Cupid shot Daphne, making her frigid. Daphne ultimately turned herself into a laural tree to avoid the rape of Apollo. Apollo tore her branches off. The human female differs from all others in that she:
What if the next step in consciousness
requires Daphne--the whole sensual woman? What if the woman's

"I have read this book almost nonstop! It has really opened up an awareness of my own upbringing and as a result experiences in my life.
"The book gives you insight and very real experiences of real women. It makes one realize that we are all really so closely connected by a common thread woven amongst humanity.
"Of course, the dialogue in this book floats amongst a sea of sexual energy increasing sexual awareness, and brings you into tune with your own reality.
"The good girl myth is explored and broken down to each and every
woman’s own experience and her dualities in life. I just can't imagine
any woman, or even man for that fact not enjoying and learning from this
really in depth salt of the earth book, which will unleash your own intuitive
desires."

"I have enjoyed reading this book slowly so that I could savor each adventure of the women this author has interviewed. For many years I thought I was strange in my choices in life but now I find out that there are many women out there who have enjoyed their sexuality as I did.
"Please read this book and somewhere you may identify your own good
girl/bad girl self.

"My wife reads your book to me at night, even though she's filled with homework from her schooling. We think your book is a one of a kind essential reading that especially could go in college curriculums and fit a variety of therapist essential reading.
"For me, even though I work with women every day, it's about becoming
more familiar with these personal, interpersonal, psychological and sociological
issues. Thank you for putting it together!"

" I have this book and have read it thoroughly. Being in my 60s I was astonished at the content, not just the candidness. I am very serious in suggesting that this be put in front of a male audience, since many of the old fashioned notions that these women overcame and lived through are clearly similar to those men have bought into and those notions have allowed stunted relationships, often unnecessarily leading to the breakups so devastating to parents and children - not just young couples, but mature couples.
"I wish I had been given this book 20 years ago as a gift from my
children at the time of my divorce. Now it is an eye opener into the real
attitudes of many mature and experienced women. If you asked 100 men about
what mature women think and feel relating to their intimacy, my guess
is that less than five would come to these conclusions. Brigitta has done
a great service for men.
