Meet Daphne

Cupid grew tired of hearing Apollo boast about his sexual prowess. So Cupid darted Apollo with a poison that made him sexually insatiable. Then Cupid shot Daphne, making her frigid. Daphne ultimately turned herself into a laural tree to avoid the rape of Apollo. Apollo tore her branches off.

The human female differs from all others in that she:

  • has cryptic/hidden ovulatory signals, including no coarse odor or sounds, body stance, facial expressions or gesticulations, or visible color change
  • experiences continual 24/7 sexual receptivity
  • has the capacity to say no to sex during ovulation – when she is in heat
  • has a functioning clitoris, the only organ in nature designed purely for pleasure
  • can cycle her estrus in harmony with other women
  • has an exceedingly high death rate – around 25% – from child birth
  • if healthy, can live a third or more of her life after menopause – she becomes a grandmother … while remaining sexually active and often experiencing heightened sexual capacity

An endearing lover, to me, is someone who is gentle ... tender ... who can last a little while ... who knows about my body as well as his own body. If sombody can take me through a couple of orgasms before intercourse, then, hopefully we can come together ... My two orgasms have to happen before he gets off because usually once he's done, he's done.

pg. 11 … When a woman is in a prolonged ecstatic state, her brain shuts off all fear centers.
Her body floods with hormones and healing/happy chemicals that slow the aging process, while flooding her brain with a sense of well-being that can last long after the sex act itself.

Women can participate in prolonged ecstatic states even when they are not ovulating, even after menopause.

Clearly nature did not evolve human female sexuality strictly for reproduction.

pg. 161… All but two women spoke openly about her ability to orgasm during masturbation.

For most of them, orgasming with a partner is harder, requiring more time and patience.


pg. 162… Nine out of fourteen women reported they had experienced multiple orgasms and prolonged ecstatic states, ‘…until I was so full of oxytocin I couldn’t walk.’ Six of those women said they had had relationships where multiple and/or extended orgasms were normal.

They described the prolonged ecstatic state as mystical – esoteric, spiritual – different from an average orgasm.

I am very serious in suggesting that this be put in front of a male audience, since many of the old fashioned notions that these women overcame and lived through are clearly similar to those men have bought into and those notions have allowed stunted relationships, often unnecessarily leading to the breakups so devastating to parents and children - not just young couples, but mature couples.
